Finding MP3s via Google

Aug 21

From the “old” place, as requested by Maggi:

Forget about simply entering “MP3 downloads”, you’ll only end up with junk!

Instead, try one of these:

Method #1

Enter this string:

“parent directory ” Name of Singer/Album/Song -xxx -html -htm -php -shtml -opendivx -md5 -md5sums

Method #2

Enter this string:

?intitle:index.of? mp3 Name of Singer/Album/Song

You only need add the name of the song/artist/singer.

Example: ?intitle:index.of? mp3 jackson

Method #3

Enter this string:

inurl:Name of Singer/Album/Song filetype:mp3

Easy innit?

Pigging Out..

Aug 20

So yesterday it was my turn to stand by the village’s local compost heap to ensure that nobody dumps anything non-organic.

A pretty boring occupation for a Saturday afternoon, but as it turned out, it sometimes has it’s perks!

Of course I was welcomed as the hero I was, before being ordered back to the place of my deeds, carrying a much larger recipient this time!

And did we pig out: Saturday: Tagliatelle ai Fiori di Zucca, Sunday: Frittata coi Fiori di Zucca….

But what about Duty Free?

I’ve always considered the practice of purchasing a bottle of highly flammable liquid and placing it above your head during the duration of the flight somewhat of an absurdity.

And so have various experts: unfortunately, the logical solution to this problem, i.e. purchasing the booze at your destination was smothered by political considerations.

But now….? Rolling Eyes
